  • Media Bias/Fact Check - provides information on how biased or credible a source is. Particularly good for checking the validity of a news publisher or news site. 

  • Snopes - fact checks websites and specific news stories. 

  • Politifact - specializes in determining the accuracy of politicians' statements and arguments. 

  • Factcheck.org - non-profit, non-partisan checking the facts of politicians' statements, science-based claims, viral stories, etc.
