This page contains instructions/rubrics for your research paper and annotated bibliography assignments.
Assignment Requirements
To summarize what you need to find for your annotated bibliography and research paper assignments:
5 or more scholarly sources. A scholarly source is typically an academic/peer-reviewed article or a book. |
You must cite your sources in the MLA 8 or MLA 9 style. |
You can also include non-academic sources in your research (news articles, general websites, videos, etc.) in addition to your 5 scholarly sources. Non-academic sources are often easier to work with than scholarly sources and using them could help you if you're having trouble understanding or getting what you need from scholarly materials. |
