On this page you will find 3 handout/video pairs detailing the optimal ways to find scholarly articles using Schewe Library's databases. We discuss how to find EBSCO databases, GALE databases, and also how to search all our databases at once (Multi-Database Search).
It is possible that you will find a scholarly article discussing the precise nature of your topic (e.g., "tobacco cultivation in Bolivia"), but also be prepared to be flexible and settle for scholarly articles that discuss only pieces of your topic (e.g., "tobacco cultivation in Latin America", "agricultural technologies in Bolivia, etc.). Research is about building bridges between information, and as such, you can't always expect to find all the information you're looking for in one place.
