In particular, the database contains an extensive selection of African American newspapers, as well as a variety of books, monographs, and pamphlets from 18th and 19th century America.

Contains almost 700,000 images digitized from various New York Public Library collections. The search functionality isn't too fantastic, so try browsing a specific collection for best results.
