Schewe Library is organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. The following call numbers will help you find books related to class topics. 
 

African American History: 973.0496 (upper floor) 

Black Americans: political and civil rights (includes both the 1960s Civil Rights Movement and BLM) : 323.1196 (lower floor)

Emancipation: 326.8 (lower floor)

Black feminism: 305.4208 (lower floor)

Gay rights movement (DDC does not have specific call number for Black people involved in the movement): 323.326  (lower floor)
