Creating Screencasts

Here are a few screencast tools which you can use to create short videos recording your computer screen and your voice and sometimes, your webcam. These all have free versions. If you know of any additional free screencasting tools that should be added to this list, please share them with Bree.

Screen capture tool to create, edit, and communicate with videos and images.
TechSmith Capture
TechSmith Capture provides a simple, free way to create basic screenshots and screen recordings and share them with others.

Animated Video

Here are a few animated video creation tools. All of them have free versions, but keep in mind that these tools change over time and some of the free versions may disappear.
