"UDL provides a blueprint for creating instructional goals, methods, materials, and assessments that work for everyone--not a single, one-size-fits-all solution but rather flexible approaches that can be customized and adjusted for individual needs." -UDL on Campus
You can start small by adding one additional option for an assignment or one extra format for course content (i.e. a video and lecture notes OR a Word document and an audio file of the document being read). Providing additional formats and options can improve student learning and retention as a result. If you have questions about UDL or accessibility, feel free to contact Dr. Bree Kirsch, the Director of the Library.
