Printing in Schewe Library: Print from Library Computers

How to print from library computers


1. Print Directly from Library Computer

  1. Log in to the computer with your connect2 id (ie: smith.jane) and password.

  2. Open the document you’d like to print.

  3. Navigate to the print menu (under the file menu in most programs. Please see library staff for assistance).

  4. Under “Printer” use the drop down to select the printer you want to use.

  5. Printer options are (each physical printer has a sign that tells you the name of the printer):

    •  Library1 (ground floor; black and white only. 3 cents/page)

    • ScheweCopierBW (ground floor; black and white only. 3 cents/page)

    • schewecopiercolor (ground floor; color. 18 cents/page)

    • Library2 (upstairs; black and white only. 3 cents/page)

    • Adobe PDF (will NOT print. Will save a PDF version. Free)

  6. If you do not see the printer you are looking for, please contact a library staff member for help.

2. Web Print Using PaperCut

  1. Sign in to your Single Sign On 

  2. Open PaperCut 

  3. Select "Web Print" on the left-hand side bar

  4. Click the green "Submit a Job" button

  5. Type in the name or location of the printer you wish to print from under "Select a printer." If you type in "Schewe," it will bring up the Library printers

  6. Click the green "Print Options and Account Selection" button at the bottom right of the page

  7. Choose how many copies of the document you would like to print

  8. Click the green "Upload documents" button at the bottom right of the page

  9. Drag and drop the documents you want to print or click the upload button (please note that all documents you wish to print must be downloaded or saved to the computer before uploading them)

  10. Click the green "Upload and Complete" button at the bottom right of the page
